WELCOME TO YOUR TALBERT MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY FOR 2022-2023!

Hello, Talbert families! My name is Danielle Bonsignore, and I am Talbert's Library Media Technician. I'm thrilled about this school year and am excited to welcome students to the library!

You may visit the library with your classes, in the morning before homeroom, and during nutrition. The library is a quiet place to gather. Visitors are expected to browse for books, read silently, or work on homework/study. Please keep in mind that the library is closed during lunch and all day on Thursdays. You are also encouraged to visit the library via DESTINY DISCOVER. You can log in, search for books, put books on hold, and even write reviews! You can also keep track of your checkouts and when they are due.

To get to Destiny Discover: https://destiny.fvsd.us/

Click on Talbert Middle School and that will take you directly to Destiny Discover. You can log in with your myfvsd e-mail and your ID# with the zeros at the end.

Library Policies:

Students may check out up to three books at a time.
Books become overdue 14 days after checkout.
Students are notified of outstanding books or fines via their homeroom teacher.
Lightly damaged books will result in a $5.00 fine. Heavily damaged books will include a fine equaling the cost of the book to replace the copy.
Visitors are expected to keep talking to a minimum and be respectful of books and the library space.
