Assistant Principal's Message
We are extremely pleased to introduce Talbert Middle School's new assistant principal, Ms. Molly Kuykendall. Molly began her educational career at Plavan Elementary School, as a kindergarten student. She moved on to Masuda Middle School and graduated as a Baron from Fountain Valley High School. After high school, Molly left this "nice place to live" and headed to San Diego where she attended the University of San Diego, receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree and continuing her education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where she received her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction. Molly began her career teaching 3rd grade in Torrance Unified School District. In 2000, she moved to Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District where she taught 2nd and 5th grade. In 2015, she began her administrative career as Dean of Students at Corvallis Middle School in the Norwalk-La Mirada Unified School District.
In addition to her commitment to teaching and learning, Molly is an avid reader and a huge sports fan. She loves everything about the UCLA Bruins (don't tell Dr. Johnson) and enjoys watching the men in blue, Go Dodgers!
Molly is thrilled to be returning to Fountain Valley School District, a community she grew up in, a community she loves, and a community she is eager to give back to. Please join us in welcoming Molly back home, as a member of our FVSD Family!
