Welcome

Welcome! My name is Mrs. Robinson, and I teach 8th grade English Language Arts and History at Talbert. This will be my 9th year teaching! I am passionate about motivating and inspiring students to love learning. In my classroom, students will work daily with technology, work collaboratively with other students on assignments and projects, and understand the importance of hard work and effort as they prepare for the rigor of high school.

I have a husband (Tony), an 8-year-old daughter (Adelaide), and a rescue dog (Darwin). You can often find me sitting outside my daughter's ballet classes. She is very serious about ballet! During the summer months, I enjoy hiking in the Eastern Sierras with my family. It seems I am the only person in Southern California who is actually excited for the snow to MELT up at Mammoth Mountain so that I can hit the hiking trails! I also train year-round for half marathons and 10K runs. Check out my latest medals displayed in my classroom! Hiking and running take strength, stamina, and tenacity; these are just some of the characteristics I hope to impress upon all my students this school year.
