Welcome

My name is Kelly Walters and this is my 18th year teaching at Talbert Middle School! Before starting at Talbert, I taught 2 years at a private school.  I grew up going to elementary and middle school in the FVSD. After graduating from FVHS, I went to Vanguard University for my BA (where I majored in English), for my teaching credential, and also to get my Master's Degree in Education.  While there, I played 4 years of collegiate basketball.  At Talbert I teach 6th graders! The subjects that I teach are ELA and woodshop.  I also help coach the girl's basketball team.  I am married, have 2 dogs, a daughter, and a son! I love teaching at Talbert. Go T-Birds!
