Welcome

Hi, I’m Amy Trimm and this is my sixteenth year teaching at Talbert. I have always had a sixth grade homeroom and ELA/History core, but I have taught 7th, and 8th grade History classes as well. I grew up in Orange County and attended UCSB for my undergraduate studies where I majored in Communication and minored in History. Then, I earned my teaching credentials and Master of Education at Concordia University in Irvine. I currently teach 6th grade Honors ELA and History, 7th Grade STEAM History, and Computer Elective. When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. We love riding our bikes to the beach and cheering for the Angels and Oregon Ducks. Lastly, I have run several marathons and have helped coach Talbert’s track team for the past fourteen years.
