Assistant Principal's Message

Welcome T-Birds!

Picrure of Assistant Principal of Talbert, Caitlyn Gregory

I am thrilled to be starting my 2nd year as the assistant principal at Talbert Middle School! This is my 18th year in education. I started back in 2007 as an instructional assistant in the special education program in FVSD. Since then, I have worked as a middle school teacher for students with extensive support needs and as a district special education coordinator for a neighboring school district. My roots are in the FVSD community. Growing up here, I attended Cox Elementary School, Masuda Middle School, and Fountain Valley High School. My favorite memories from middle school include the incredible teachers, participating in the sports tournaments, and attending the pep rallies. I attended California State University, Fullerton, where I earned my BS in Child and Adolescent Development. I went on to earn my teaching credential and MS in Special Education from CSUF as well. I believe the educational opportunities in FVSD are second to none, which is why I continue to live here and send my children to our schools.  It is an honor to be at Talbert and give back to the community that raised me. Middle school encompasses transformative years for students with many ups and downs along the way. My goal is to help create a safe environment for students to grow through these years and be ready for high school as responsible, compassionate young men and women.
