At the April 6, 2023, Board of Trustees Meeting, the 2023-2024 School Year Calendar was approved.

Fountain Valley School District announces its policy to serve nutritious meals every school day under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast Program. Effective July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024, children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals if the household income is less than or equal to the federal guidelines.

FVSD is pleased to share that a draft version of the 2023-24 LCAP is available on the District website for public review at www.fvsd.us/pages/LCAP. A public hearing related to the draft of the LCAP will be conducted as part of the regularly-scheduled FVSD Board Meeting on June 15, 2023. The plan will then be presented for consideration of approval at the following Board Meeting on June 22, 2023. If you have questions regarding the plan, please reach out to Dr. Kiva Spiratos, FVSD's Director of Educational Services.

TK/Kinder Enrollment for the 2023-24 school year will begin on Friday, February 24th at 12:00 PM.

Learn about the Twilight Education Project, where families can learn the language and life skills that they need to succeed. A program of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley, the Twilight Education Project removes the typical barriers to services: it's FREE, takes place after work hours, and provides transportation and child care. Last year, over 425 children and adults learned side by side in the program's supportive atmosphere.

FVSD is please to share an 8-week Self-paced Summer Learning Program which is available to all students through the FVSD website. The program is designed to provide students with online learning activities that provide a review of essential learning from the 2020-21 school year, as well as a preview of essential learning for the upcoming 2021-22 school year.
