Welcome

My name is Jane De Sota. I have been teaching at Talbert Middle School for 18 years. I am a CSULB Alumni, and I was a Distinguished Graduate of the College of Education for Liberal Arts and Mathematics in 1996. I have a Multiple Subject Degree and Authorization in Mathematics. I am also CLAD and GATE Certified. During my professional career at Talbert, I have been a member of the School Site Council and Leadership Team. I coached Girls Track. I was the Mathematics Department Chair, and I have been a BTSA Mentor Teacher for the District for over 10 years. In 2010, I had the great honor and privilege of being selected Talbert Middle School’s Teacher of the Year. That same year, I was also selected Fountain Valley School District’s Teacher of the Year. I have been married for 22 years and have three beautiful, smart, and talented children. I am passionate about skiing and sports. In my free time, I love to read, cycle, camp, and go to the beach.
